“ביחד ננצח”, שירם המשותף, מצליח לגעת בנימי הנשמה ולשאת מסר של אמונה, תקווה ואחדות . וידרקר, למרות המרחק גיאוגרפי ממולדתו השנייה – ישראל, מצליח לשמור על קשר הדוק עם המתרחש בארץ. “למרות שאני נמצא בחו”ל, ליבי פועם עם ישראל,” הוא משתף. “לפני כל הלחנה, אני מתחבר למציאות הישראלית דרך קליפים ושירים ביוטיוב, שומר על קשר רציף עם אמנים מקומיים ומתעדכן ביצירה העכשווית.
כך התוודעתי ליצירתו המרגשת של מתי שריקי, והתחברתי מיד לסגנון השירה הייחודי והאותנטי שלו.

In these times of national turmoil, when the heart seeks words of comfort and strength, comes a special collaboration between two talented creators: veteran composer Martin Widerker (89) and singer-songwriter Mati Shriki. “Together, We Will Win,” their joint song, manages to touch the soul and carry a message of faith, hope, and unity.
Widerker, despite the geographical distance from his second homeland – Israel, manages to maintain a close connection with what is happening in the country. “Even though I am abroad, my heart beats with Israel,” he shares. “Before any composing, I connect with the Israeli reality through music videos and songs on YouTube, maintain continuous contact with local artists and keep up to date with contemporary work. That’s how I became acquainted with Mati Shriki’s moving musical pieces, and I immediately connected with his unique and authentic singing style.”
Martin Widerker, who has a rich repertoire of sacred songs and Jewish music, sees his musical work as more than a mission – it is a way of life. In his frequent visits to Israel, he creates connections with the best cantors and singers, and succeeds in bridging the gap between the rich Jewish musical tradition and contemporary sounds.
Mati Shriki, currently in the final stages of his third album, known to the public for his inspiring life story and many hits played in the Haredi and general media, once again managed to capture the spirit of the times with his simple yet profound words.
The impressive musical arrangement was created by the talented duo of adapters, Eli Klein and Itzzi Berry, who succeeded in enhancing the emotional message of the song through a rich and precise arrangement. The result is an inspiring musical piece that can easily dispel fear through faith. The moving music video was filmed by Widerker and Shriki on the Gaza border, inside a forward outpost and in the presence of fighters who also participate in the video.
