On Friday afternoon of Chol Hamoed Pesach, on Jaffa Road, right near the Machaneh Yehudah Market, I heard music – live music. Not an unusual occurrence, as there are often musicians outside playing/singing. But this time it was a choir – Pirchei Yerushalayim.

The boys sang well, and Hebrew songs, some of which I know and like (their dancing was rather basic – not Miami Boys or Super bowl halftime). I only caught a part of their performance.

I liked the singing enough to film some, then spend 40 minutes or so editing a short clip. No full songs here, just a taste.

The choir has been around for 50 years. They are well known, perform in many venues, and have recently been visiting around the country to sing for soldiers, their choir leader told the crowd.
