The Israeli tradition of commemorating Holocaust Remembrance Day and Heroism which passes the baton of remembrance from the state ceremonies and mass rallies – to personal, meaningful and exciting gatherings that take place every year in thousands of salons at the same time. Every year, about a million and a half people in Israel and in 65 countries around the world take part in the memorial in the living room. The project, which brings together a million and a half people every year for exciting and meaningful meetings in tens of thousands of salons in Israel and around the world, seeks to prepare for the day when there will no longer be any Holocaust survivors with us who will be able to give their testimony and ensure that the memory of the Holocaust remains alive and relevant more than ever.
