Lebanon is incredibly sectarian, making its delicate balance of power unlike any other country. Various factions and religious groups in Lebanon, such as Hezbollah, the Maronite Christians, and Sunni Muslims, have vastly different attitudes towards Palestinians living in Lebanon as well as the Palestinian cause in the West Bank and Gaza.
