Prayer is universal. It transcends language, culture, and creed, uniting us in our deepest hopes and aspirations. This rendition of The Prayer blends its original message with the Hebrew translation by Rabbi Moshe Pomerantz z”l (1935-2024).

We honor the memory of Rabbi Pomerantz, the late father of my friend and mentor Cantor Alisa Pomerantz-Boro, former Assistant Cantor at Park Avenue Synagogue and Past President of the Cantors Assembly. May his legacy continue to inspire us all, and may his memory be a blessing.

As this universal plea for guidance, peace, and strength echoes in our hearts, let it remind us of the power of prayer to bridge divides and heal our world.

Wishing you a Shabbat Shalom.
