I wrote this song about trying to set aside the the daily momma worries and really sit in the simple moments and enjoy them with my kids
Every summer โ๏ธ we have these cute little
butterflies ๐ฆ that come to our backyard and my kids love running after them for hours.
Watching them in fascination made me learn a cute little lesson from them to appreciate the simple things and get out of my head for a little ๐ค

Back porch winding down, playground swinging
The mid-June sun, it starts slowly fading
Your barefoot baby toes, running through the daisies
We sped on after you to see what caught your eye.
You said, โDaddy look a pink and yellow butterfly!โ

to be just one month short of three
