We’ve just completed a very interesting time on the Jewish calendar. Tisha B’av – the saddest day of the Jewish year, in which we mourn the many tragedies that have befallen our people throughout the ages – was observed last week. It was followed by Shabbat Nachamu, the Shabbat of comfort and consolation, where we remember that, no matter how low we’ve sunk, we always bounce back to greatness. On today’s Israel Hour Radio, we share songs that came from our most recent national tragedy, echoing BOTH sentiments: songs of sadness and tragedy…and songs of strength and optimism…all released in the aftermath of October 7, 2023. We have a feeling you’ll be inspired by ALL. (Original Air Date: July 26, 2026)
