I`m delighted to share my first single release from my upcoming album, Upside Down Mountain – a trio album featuring Omri Mor and Ofri Nehemya. With gratitude to the great players and all who participated in this unique and sublime project, I invite you to enjoy and share this piece of music and read on to find out a little more about it!
Not nearly often enough do I get to spend “special time” with my kids. As part of our time together a week after the recording of the album, one of my daughters was waiting for me to finish up in the studio. She was patient but I could tell she’d rather I wasn’t giving my attention to my computer. I asked her if she wanted to name this piece of music that until then was simply called “melody 3”. She called it “Time with Abba” which means “dad” in Hebrew. This piece of music opens up the peace and depth – and lament – of those of us who wish we’d be more present with our kids and with our parents sharing and being close.
