In a performance with Avraham Fried in Beit El last week, singer Aviv Geffen gave a public apology on stage for “statements he had made in the past.”
Geffen was known to hold antagonistic views toward Israel’s construction over the Green Line. He said with his hand on his heart, “We were separated for all kinds of reasons, I wanted to please my audience and I spoke out of ignorance. I want to ask you for forgiveness out of love and unity.”
He credited Interior Minister Ayelet Shaked and other friends for helping him open his eyes to the truth.
