This song reminds us that each and every Jew is special because we have a “Chelek Eloka,” a piece of Hashem within us. Our bodies may be purely physical, but it is our holy Neshama that imbues us with a higher purpose of living. Our Neshamos, ultimately, give us unlimited potential to accomplish a Kirvas Elokim, a closeness to Hashem, even while living down here in the physical world.
