This city, the city of Torah, really does not expect songs to be written for it. There is humility and simplicity in it yet it is an empire of Torah, of grace, of the sanctity of life. And it has nothing to do with recent political events and headlines. An urge arose in me to dedicate a song to her, to Bnei Brak. A city in which the eternal spirit of our people hovers and yet mixed and lies unhindered next to the Coca-Cola factory, huge industrial areas, and traffic jams of the center of the country – the pinnacle of ‘this world’!
