This song is dedicated to the completion of the building of a glorious palace for the Rebbe Melech HaMoshiach in the Land of Israel, a project which was initiated by the Rebbe’s response in 1978 to a chassid who desired to build a house for him in Israel. The Rebbe responded to Reb Zushe Rivkin’s offer, “He wants to build a house for me?” And with an emphatic wave of his hand continued, “An Armon [for Moshiach]!” Then the Rebbe added, “But now is not the time yet. Wait [to build].”
Over the next 13 years Reb Zushe asked repeatedly if he could begin work on the lofty project, and finally in 1991/5751 his wife was told by the Rebbe that her husband should now present the question to a Rav in Eretz Yisroel and follow his advice. Rav Mordechai Ashkenazi answered affirmatively that the building should indeed begin with blessing and success!
The Rebbe MHM oversaw all the details of the palace through the joyful groundbreaking in Kfar Chabad in Adar 5752. This incredible project which carries the explicitly blessings and instructions of the Rebbe MHM has remained unfinished since that time. Let’s all join together in a spirit of joy, faith, and unity to support the swift completion of this holy edifice in accord with the will of our King Moshiach, which will certainly facilitate his complete revelation and ushering in of the Final Redemption!
