@ModiLive is a brilliant and wonderful Jewish comedian whose work is delightfully feel-good, incisive, fills whole theaters! It was such a gift that he spoke to me and I was a little more than a little nervous!
What’s amazing about Modi is he can talk to religious Jews, none Jews alike, the left, the right and the center, all in such a polarized moment. It’s incredible to me that as an openly out married gay man he has a whole fanbase of Hasidic Jews, and he performs at their fundraising events. Modi has a deep love for Chabad Judaism which was also a very interesting part of his story I learned in this interview.
