As we mark one year since October 7th, our hearts and prayers are with our brave IDF soldiers and their families, the hostages, and those evacuated from their homes. It is hard to believe that it has been 12 months since that devastating morning. Here is just one of millions of stories which enabled us to overcome the atrocities of October 7th and reach where we are today.

Rabbi Shlomo Rayman (NCSY Israel Director of Education) reflects on his experience as a reserve solider during the war. He shares challenges on the battlefield, parenting, trauma and hope.

It’s our job to thank those that jumped to action then and who are are still defending Jews in Israel and around the world. Let us think of our friends, relatives and neighbors going through the toughest times of their lives and offer them our continued love and support.
