After surviving the Holocaust, thousands of Jewish refugees set out for the Land of Israel, only to be intercepted by the British and imprisoned at Atlit detention camp in Mandatory Palestine. Now, Noam Weissman visits Atlit, taking us inside the camp where refugees faced harsh conditions, barbed wire, and an uncertain future. In October 1945, the Palmach launched a daring rescue, freeing more than 200 prisoners.
