Lior Tibet, a history PhD student in UCD who is originally from Israel, was forcibly removed from the Holocaust Memorial Day event in Dublin’s Mansion House on January 26th, 2025. She, along with a number of other protesters, turned her back on President Michael D Higgins during his keynote speech to the event.
