Last week, the Israeli Air Force completed a two week joint exercise with the German Air Force in Germany. This was the first time the Israeli Air Force participated in “MAG Days,” an operational exercise run by NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization).
During the two week long exercise, the Israeli and German air forces also completed a historic flyby near the Dachau Concentration Camp, in the memory of Holocaust victims, and over the Fürstenfeldbruck Airport in Munich, in memory of the 11 victims of the Munich Olympics Massacre in 1972.
